Aouni Ibrahim, Immigration Paralegal

Aouni obtained his degree in law from Damascus University. After the war broke out in Syria, he moved to the United States with his family and applied for asylum. He obtained a certificate as a paralegal from DePaul university and began working with organizations to help refugees. He started with SCN as a volunteer in the Immigration department in summer 2024. He is happy to have a role in his field of study and helping refugees.
