The United States prepares to take thousands of Syrian refugees
The United States resettled 359 Syrian refugees in 2013 and 2014, but is preparing for thousands more in the next few years. These include cuts in funding for immigrant reintegration programs. RefugeeOne is one of the major resettlement agencies in the Chicago area. Executive Director Melineh Kano joins us to talk about the Syrian situation and the budget cuts.
