Sarise Hammad, Immigration Services Manager

Sarise has worked with SCN since 2021 as an Immigration Paralegal, providing support for community members in their journey to become permanent residents and citizens. Sarise is Palestinian American and completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University in Global and International Studies with a focus on Peace and Conflict. As a first-generation American, immigration is a passion of hers particularly because of her family’s refugee background. Prior to joining the immigration field, Sarise worked with humanitarian and advocacy organizations in the Middle East and organized among various activist circles since 2016.
