Rehab Alkadi, Case Manager

Rehab received her bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Damascus University, and worked in their engineering office. After the Syrian revolution, she worked with two international refugee agencies in Turkey, running an economic adaptation program, domestic violence program, and computer science training. She and her family arrived in Chicago in 2015 through the U.S. refugee resettlement program and immediately became an advocate with SCN for Syrian refugees and resettlement. Rehab officially joined SCN’s team in 2021 and specializes in medical case management. She leads outreach for COVID-19 information and vaccines and also helps community members with benefits, scheduling, and insurance related to their health.
