Clare VanSpeybroek, Case Manager

Clare joined the SCN team in 2022 as the organization’s Intake Coordinator and rejoined the team as a Case Manager in 2023 after an intensive Arabic program in Morocco. Clare assists families in their language as they navigate life in Illinois by connecting them to social services, public benefits, and community resources. She has also studied Arabic in Jordan, with both programs funded through State Department scholarships and fellowships. Prior to working at SCN, Clare interned with the Middle Eastern Immigrant and Refugee Alliance (MIRA) as a Community Service Scholar throughout her studies at DePaul University.
